My name is Ruandri, and I believe in the power of vision and the endless opportunities that life presents. I approach every moment with a curiosity for what’s possible, driven by the belief that everything is within reach with the right mindset and heart.
I was born in Namibia and raised by my incredible mother, Mandria, who started Once Upon a Time Boutique Craft Centre 24 years ago. I grew up surrounded by the beauty of craftsmanship, storytelling through design, and the inspiration that only a mother’s love and dedication can foster. After her passing, I found myself at a crossroads, and I made the life-changing decision to step away from the medical field—a world I had been a part of for many years—and embrace my legacy.
Driven by a deep belief in self-worth and the idea that true beauty is limitless, I’ve taken the bold step of bringingOnce Upon a Time Boutique to South Africa. I am thrilled to be introducing new collections to the vibrant city of Cape Town, with plans to establish a presence at theWatershed at the V&A Waterfront. Here, I hope to continue my mother's legacy, weaving new stories into the fabric of this cherished boutique, and creating a space where others can experience the magic of beautifully crafted garments that tell their own unique stories.
